De scoutingsdagen vinden plaats in Snowvalley (Peer) op zondag 29 november en in Ice Mountain (Komen) op zondag 20 december, van 14 tot 18u. Ben je jonger dan 16 jaar (m/v) en werkelijk gek van snowen? Droom je van een internationale carrière in Half Pipe, Slopestyle en Big Air? Schrijf je dan nu in! De grootste talentjes worden immers uitgenodigd voor het VSSF Rookie Trainingscamp!
Tijdens de scoutingsdagen zullen de talentscouts van de VSSF een inschatting maken van je technisch niveau. Vervolgens krijg je anderhalf uur intensieve coaching door Quiksilver/Roxy Benelux Teamriders. Als afsluiter volgt een infomeeting met kids en ouders omtrent de Vlaamse snowboardclubs en de mogelijkheden op topsportvlak binnen de Topsportschool Snowboarden van de VSSF.

Zo won Kevin Bronckaers het World Rookie Fest in Livigno en pakte Seppe Smits zilver op het Wereldkampioenschap Big Air in Korea.
